President Goodluck Jonathan has become one of the first persons to drive Nigeria's locally manufactured vehicles.
This piece of information was made public on Thursday, 29 May, 2014, by Reno Omokri, the Special Assistant to President Jonathan on New Media.
Mr Omokri went on his official twitter page and shared a picture of the president sitting on the driver's side of a Nissan Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday declared Instagram celebrity Oluwasegun Opaogun aka Opa6ix and four others wanted for Internet-related fraud and other allegations. Naija News reports that the antigraft agency shared photos of Opa6ix, Solomon Efosa, Emeka Ayaunor and Barnabas Akojie.
The commission accused them of other crimes such as criminal conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence.
“The public is hereby notified that Opaogun Oluwasegun Akinola whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a case of Conspiracy, Computer Related Fraud and Obtaining Money under False Pretence,” the anti-graft agency said.
The outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan who lost the March presidential election to General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) says he is going to direct all his efforts to return the PDP to its winning ways by 2019.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu met with President Jonathan at the PDP-organized committee meeting set up to assess the party's performance in the recently concluded elections.
Speaking to journalists, Senator Ekweremadu summarized the meeting.
"As you are aware, the PDP set up a committee to have an overview of our performance during 2015 election and possibly proffer a road map for the PDP to return to its past glory,"

The details of the meeting between members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the party’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, have emerged. Naija News recalls that PDP BoT led by its Chairman and former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, had last week met with the party’s Vice Presidential candidate and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa.
Speaking with reporters after the meeting, Wabara had said the delegation would also meet with Atiku and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to reconcile their differences.
