Suspected bandits have murdered a motorcyclist in Kwoi, Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, after collecting a ransom of N30,000. The kidnappers had abducted the deceased and demanded a ransom of N30,000, Daily Post reports. A source informed the publication that the deceased friend contributed the money, thinking he would be released after the payment. “He was kidnapped on 13/01/2022 in Kwoi. His friends were forced to contribute the ransom to secure his release but the bandits still refused to release him after receiving the money.

Nigerian Breweries has announced it will increase the price of beer in August 2023 following the recent hike in the cost of production as a result of the fuel subsidy removal by the federal government.
