Suspected bandits have murdered a motorcyclist in Kwoi, Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, after collecting a ransom of N30,000. The kidnappers had abducted the deceased and demanded a ransom of N30,000, Daily Post reports.
A source informed the publication that the deceased friend contributed the money, thinking he would be released after the payment.
“He was kidnapped on 13/01/2022 in Kwoi. His friends were forced to contribute the ransom to secure his release but the bandits still refused to release him after receiving the money.
