The family of a young Nigerian woman identified as Mrs Oluwashola Atunrayo Gaska (nee Adefolalu) have cried out after her husband cremated her without informing them.
According to reports, the family of late Mrs Sholly (as she was fondly called) are not finding it funny that her husband Jakub (Kuba) Gaska, had her body cremated without informing them first.
36-year-old Sholly had met and married Jakub in Poland, after she relocated there in 2000 when she went to study.
Nigerian female police officers have been given a new and improved dress code by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Baba. Naija News reports that the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known in a statement on Friday.
The Force spokesman disclosed that the police chief revealed the new dress code at the IGP’s meeting with Strategic Police Managers on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
Adejobi said female police officers can now wear stud earrings, and headscarves under their berets or peak caps as the case may be while in uniform.
A bus has plunged off a flyover in southern Italy leaving at least 38 people dead, rescue services say.
The bus hit several vehicles before smashing through a parapet and toppling down a steep slope near the town of Avellino, in the Campania region.
At least 10 people have been injured, some of them seriously, Italian media report.
The bus was taking about 50 people, including children, back to Naples following a pilgrimage, reports say.
